Hello, I just found this happening today while I was playing.
I found Pod 17 within the Grassy Plateaus Biome and right next to the pod was a huge Aurora wreckage that I was going to explore.
I went back to my own pod to go and get some essentials like the oxygen pipes and the device that floats to supply oxygen into the pipes.
After I came back and found Pod 17, the world around it had regenerated and the huge wreckage had disappeared. I swam around the area just to make sure I had not missed it. No where to be found. The wreckage was literally 3 metres away from the pod. I could of not missed it at all. Is this a bug or is the game working to spec?

in there is a way to fix it. You just need to delete most everything in the CellsCache folder which is inside your savedgame folder usually found C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames, there should be a slot0000 or slot0001 folder depending on your most recent save. If you have a base set up press f1 at the location where the base is write down the cellcache batch numbers and when you go to delete the files in the cellcache folder don't delete the file that has the location of where your base is.
