For some unknown reason, regardless of where the particle system is in my map, at the exact center of the grid/map a copy of one of the particle systems occurs. Yes, the original particle system displays in the right spot. Yes, it is being emitted from a brush entity. Yes, I have checked for copies that might have had the brush entity name removed and there are no such copies.
Ready for the real twilight zone stuff - it only appears as you get close but disappears as you back away... *eerie music and wolf howls in the background*
HELP.. I'm scared.
<b>BTW</b> - The pic is showing my shower sprite which goes in my odlers shower room. Just thought you might wanna know <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
I had something similar in ns_next. My PS was set to create another PS on collision. The on collision PS didn't spawn by the origin 0,0,0 was acting a source of my original PS. The upshot of this was that a neon sign appeared to be dripping (thanks to Moleculor for spotting that). I removed the name from on collide property and it sorted itself.
I believe this is just a bug, and I believe it may have been fixed. As such, I'm moving this to the Tech Release forum because I think this is more of an NSTR issue than an NS issue.
