<div class="IPBDescription">pldecal.wad or spraypaint.wad?</div> i know for cs the spray file is a pldcalc.wad file, but for ns i don't think it's the same, because my custom sprays never show up like they do for cs (using the pldcalc.wad file)

not sure what it is, but out of all the other files, im assuming it's spraypaint.wad

can someone confirm this?

im hoping/praying that wally will be able to convert files to spraypaint.wad (if that is the custom spray file)

well, that's what it is. I've used a custom spray for NS since release, and it's always been pldecal.wad

but that still doesn't explain why there is a spraypaint.wad file in my folder!

i made a custom spray and it worked fine, but for some reason the one i dled (the one i was originally trying to use) doesn't work for ns

that's weird; guess i have to make it myself =P

Spraypaint wad is 2.0s own set of custom normal one colour sprays for HL.. Some of them are actually pretty damn cool.

^as for any MOD

The <b>only</b> MOD I've seen actually make new sprays is SvenCoop

To make sprays work in mods:

place pldecal.wad in their folder

for ns, it'd be "sierra\half-life\ns"

for cs, it'd be "sierra\half-life\cstrike"

and so on.

Thats probably why they don't work.

or if you are really lazy and use the same spray for every game, put it in your valve folder and just delete all the other pldecal.wads in the other mod folders
