bz2 <-> hl
I have converted a model of a dropship from the game battlezone2 into .3ds, and i wonder what you might think of it.
its the ultimate dropship imo, the cargobay is huge and can hold lots of gear and rines, and the thrusters are enormous, allowing a fast takeoff and effective atmospheric flight.

I dont have the time to do anything with it myself because of school, but if you are interested in doing something with it, ill mail it to ya.
BTW: Do you think it is ok for me to take models like this from other games? Im not so sure of the norms in this community Though Im not taking any cred for it...

I love all the moving parts, it's gonna look relly impressive if i make an animation of it sooner or later.
cookie, did you play bz2 a lot? online?
I'm sure there's more than a couple mappers out there who'd like to toy around with this. You wouldn't by any chance have the ISDF Scout or Sabre tank in there too, eh?
And i can get hold of all the textures too
*hopes* Does that mean BZ2 is some kind of legal abandonware now? I've been trying to track it down again for a couple of years after I lost my CD.
I have converted
the at-st
the cerberi mp ships (siren, krul, triton)
the guntower
the isdf rec
the assaulttank
the rockettank
the walker
and
the sabre and the condor
I used a trial prog to convert them, but now the 30-days are up, but I never thaught of giving it sutch a big effort finishing converting everything anyway.
I used Deep Exploration for this job, and its a jolly good tool! If you are into this thing (converting models, amking new ones,) it would be a good buy.
I'd love to get the Sabre in .3ds, or whatever filetype you have it in if at all possible.
down sized scion or isdf turrets would look cool as turrets or ocs
