I love MacHall. I hope to be as good as Ian one day in the PhotoShop area. I love the hair style, and I like long hair. But being that my school's full of lamers, I get crap for my long hair... When I keep it in Ian's style, I don't get a thing.

Yep...I've slapped one of my friends down for thinking he was a communist...after reading the manifesto and whatnot. He has since realized that he was crazy, and is more of a democratic socialist (for what <b>that</b> means anymore....)

Its probably both the hair/cap thing, and the hands. very ianish, rather than defining all the fingers, he just uses blocks with fingers where needed.
ok, the only major gripes i have with the picture are the arms, which're very wobbilily (new word!) drawn, unless thats trying to be muscle definition. Also, the small purple outline around the blooke is very pixely, looks like a stroke tool in photoshop gone wrong O_o, the glow that its apparently emmiting is unrealisticish too, it doesnt fade properly, looks like you've just gone over the edges with a soft edged brush. I'd advise making this on a new layer, and setting it to "screen", so the glow lightens all the areas, instead of just appearing like a cloud (unless that's what you were aiming for). Not sure whats going on with the end of the cord, i think a dog/cat/gorge got at that. Oh yeah, and the ersb type thing looks out of place, instead of that, i'd have a proper background, like a chair/floor/whatever...

On the plus side, the shadows arent half bad, maybe a little shaky (i define the basic areas of the shadow with the polygonal selection tool and bucket fill, then use the smudge tool to soften the edges a little). And the eyes shading is pretty good too, even though i think it was done with a crayon or something (doesnt look like PS work to me).
INOTHERWORDS it looks like a pretty good job overall <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->, just remember to practice practice practice!
