Bigd's New Product Review!
<div class="IPBDescription">Because I care.</div> These are some first impressions from some stuff:
<!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> MarioKart: Double Dash
+It's Mario Kart! On the cube!
+Easy to pickup and play, as always.
+Graphics, while cartoony are good. Lots of detail. What Mario Sunshine SHOULD have looked like
+New weapons are the pwn
+Wario drives a buick. Sweet!
+Some tracks are just neato!
-No hopping? WTH?
-No go-karts? WTH?
-Baby anything ...
-Battle mode tracks seem less interesting than n64 version... hope unlockables are good...
-A couple of tracks are just too simple...
-Too polished perhaps? Hard to mess people up on the big jumps, like in previous games.
(eg. banana peel before any major jump in MK64 caused much whining from friends.)
Side note: Haven't gone in depth yet with the multiplayer. Though the co-op mode looks like a ton of fun!

+Cinnamon... and Frosted Flakes! Grrrrrrreat!
+Very crunchy.
+Not as sweet as other cereals. (My preference)
-Sweeter than other cereals. (Just me, again.)
-I did notice a lot of cinnamon and suger left in the bowl after getting down to the last of the milk.
-Crunchier? ... I dunno ... old FF was good.
-Only in small boxes so far.
Side note: Only eaten two bowls so far.
<!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Viewtiful Joe
+Great use of cel-shading
+Side scrolling goodness!
+Had a lot of fun playing it!
-Control takes some getting used to.
Side note: Only played the demo at futureshop. Made it short so as to try the other games on the demo.

+Nice sweet flavour.
+Touch of sour, not to much.
+Crunchy
+Healthier than Apple Jacks, plus they actually contain Apple!
-Hard to find non-bruised ones in the pile
Side note: I hate bruised fruit.
<!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> 1080: Avalanche
+Very easy to pick up and play.
+Lots of extra detail.
+Knocking over "pedestrian" skiers is fun.
+Nice balance of realism and goofiness.
+Beautiful scenery.
+Definately a great sequel to one of my favorite snowboarding games.
+Lots of tracks
-Not out yet.
-Wipeouts are kinda... not so well animated... I guess... (Gimme rag doll physics darnit!)
-Wasn't able to run over the damn squirrels. DIE SQUIRREL DIE!
-Stupid little kid was behind me bugging me to let him play. Grr...
+Got to watch stupid little kid fall as he hit every wall on the high difficulty track I gave him... heheh...
Side note: Only played the demo at Futureshop. Didn't realize I wanted this game until then.
That's it for now folks. Tune in next week* as I test new cereals, weird fruit, and maybe... just maybe... I'll play something not 1080 on the futureshop GC demo! (They never have the ps2 or xbox demo running when I'm there or I'd try that crap too!)
<span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>*Depends entirely on how lazy I am. Will not be held responsible for any late reviews. Because I don't care.</span>

Down with squirrels! Otters are clearly the superior animal.

I'd tend to agree with that, but I didn't like most of the tracks as a general rule actually. I'm not sure why I didn't like about many of them, they just lacked something. The co-op mode DEFINITELY saves the game however, it is a massive amount of fun and if you aren't too sure on it, at least try that out. I don't like the game SP wise, but damn that co-op mode is fun, so I bought it for when I have friends around or want to banana peel my flat mate.
