Depends more on yoru graphics card, and the extent it is used in the game, but try it. Won't hurt anything <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Bump mapping is used in most games these days.

I ran it on a P4 1.8 GHz with a Radeon 9000 in the beta.
There's been a FFXI benchmark program released, you may want to track that down and install it. It's absolutely perfect for checking if FFXI will run well on your computer. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
