<div class="IPBDescription">Don´t know whitch forum..</div> I asked my dad if i could use his creditcard to becoma a constellation member.. And when i filled the form and klicked next..

"This transaction exceeds your remaining sending limit. Please complete your enrollment in the Expanded Use Program. You will then be allowed to send more money." and my dad got worried and said:

    This leads me to believe exactly what it says. Depending on how many transactions you've done and how many credit cards and such you have registered with them, they allow you to spend a certain amount of money. The message suggests that the account you used to donate is pretty much at that limit, or you accidently typed an amount over the $750 or so base amount.

    Ontop of that, your dad's credit card could be maxed.

    well, did you verify the card?
    that might be one problem... to verify your card, paypal GIVE YOU some cash... usually to tue tune of 8 cents, but in two deposites of varying amounts... you have to verify that the card exists before you can send money.

    did you verify an adress?
    that's another one, but i don't know how to do that... sorry...

    did you type in the amount correctally?
    that might be bad if you added in a few extra 0s and passed over paypal/your dads maximum payment limit... bad for you, suprising for flay...

    Right, same thing with me on Ebay, im like good psu nice price buy. Next thing I know i need to wait a month for a $2 paypal extended use thing to come through on the bank statement so i could activate my paypal account. I was glad that I had my extended use before I signed up for constellation.

    The fact is, this PSU was £15 and that was enough to break the paypal thing of which I had not signed up with before. Grrrrrrr

    Just get the extended use, wait for the activation code written on the bank statement *or parents bank statement like me* and then sign up for constellation.

    Sucks to wait, but thats the way the cookie crumbles my friend!

    Erm, ok, you are going to have to either wait for your dads bank statement *a month after his last one probably* or look at it online with his permission *alot of banks/credit cards dont do this*. Once you have to four numbers included on the end of the statement you sign up for you extended use account. Ask you dad when his last statement was, or whther it is do-able online with his card. Then you can get constellation once the account is active.

    and this is why we read instructions

    I am assuming this extended use thing is much the same as linking a CC to your PayPal account (what I did when I got my CC <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)

    They will deposit a small amount of $$ into your bankaccount and you must come back and tell them just howmuch it was (so they know you actualy have access to said account).

    The fastest way of doing this is poping down to your local branch and saying, "hey I need to check to see if a deposit has come in yet" I believe it should be marked as from PayPal and thus you can probably just ask if you have gotten anytihng from paypal recently. they go, ok one sec:
    Yup here it is, it was for ***** cash.

    You go back to paypal and tell emwhat it was and tadah!

    Thats basically right Thansal, except rather than deposit cash, they put 4 digitis as the END of where it says: "Paypal Extended Use Agreement <####>"

    So yes the same prinicipal, just a bit different, I never thought of asking my parents to do that...

    Yes it sounds to me that you were not verified yet by PP and that means you can only send a very small amount.

    Once you register with PP they send you a code on your bill, you come back to PP.com and enter that code, it than will prove that you are lagit and PP will allow you to spend large amounts.
