Problem With New Software.

I just got a new ATI 9700 pro from xmas, and i got it installed pyhisicaly all fine, but i cant get drivers installed. Whenever i try to intsall the driver package from the ati website, it says there was a probelm with the installation, and that i should try to update by AGP drivers, anyone know what this is, or where i can get it?

Im running XP, with an Asus motherboard, a new 9800 pro, and an athalon processor.

    Get newest motherboard drivers, specifically any that effect your AGP

    Ok, i guess i need "APG drivers for a Socket A Motherboard GA-7DXR+/FA-7DX+" anyone know what this is, or how i can get them so my video card will run right. I have a feeling there shouldnt been slowdown when scrolling down a webpage.

    perhaps, if you have a VIA chipset, you need the latest <a href='http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2' target='_blank'>VIA 4 in 1 drivers</a>.

    ok i think now that i have a gigabye 7DX+ motherboard, but i still dont know what i means that i should try to install vga devices before installing my 9700 drivers.
