    Yes.  However it lengthened the game in a not so good way (i.e. sitting there waited for a shotgun and/or evolvation), and lead to quick rp starvations.  Therefore, it was quickly dropped.  And after the change, the rp system works quite well!

    While the game was immensely fun the whole time, that can be blamed solely on Hera and that NS is generally just fun.  But the game took far too long.  Aliens had 3 hives for an hour without being able to finish (or even severely wound) the marines, and the marines had an hour in which they didn't take down a single hive.  Not to mention the half hour, at least, before the third hive went up.  Game took far too long.

    Still longing for a full feature list on RR.org for whats in the game and whats not, and if RC8 is as near completion as flayra said (and monsE even said no more screenies due to the close-up release) it should be easy to do, no? So we all can se what is in, and what is not. "Its feature complete already, has been for long" yes I know dat, but I mean more like how, what and which is included in ways of armour system etc.

    I'd assume all the information will be in the manual anyway, and if the release of that is still planned for before the game, then it'd be pointless to give that info on rr.org as well as in the manual. But then again, we may not get the manual before the game, we shall have to wait and see.

    From what I've read, any damage, even falling and getting slightly hurt, will display you with Scent of Fear.

    YOu can bind all the upgrades, evolutions, abilties, weapons, vox, etc. to the keyboard, either via using the HL config menu, or the console commands.

    Hmmm...  I use the mousewheel for all my weapon switching needs and consider the weapon buckets (I think thats what there called) to be faster than 'fast' switch.  This is going to take some getting used to.
    [Edit]oops, 2 days old, guess I looked at time and not the date, and I was kinda distracted by the most painfull muscle cramp ever experienced by man.
