English Premier League Champions
Well done to Wenger, Henry and the rest of the chaps. They've been playing scintellating football over the season and are even winning over the neutrals. A far cry from the boring, boring Arsenal of the Graham days.

If Arsenal win the remaining games of the season, that will be a whole season without a loss in the premiership. A feat last achieved since 1888/9 season (I think).

The last time that a team went through a whole top-flight season undefeated, was Preston in the 1888-1889 season. However, back then, there were only 22 matches per season.

Today, there are 38 matches in a Premiership season, making the feat considerably harder to pull off, but the Gunners are getting close.

Oh, and while we're on the topic of relegation, Wolverhampton are worse than Leeds, and thoroughly deserve to go back to Division One, where they belong.

And it's Sunderland, Sunderland F.C. They're the greatest football team, the world has ever seen.

yeah the gunners are doing dam good and deserve to be at the top.

oh and while we're talking about wolves, they never deserved to be in the premiership and imo should be at the bottom of divis 1.

u wait till next season and coventry will be back in the premiership

You know what I really love? Those 30-yard free kicks, and seeing Henry take the kick before the referee blows the whistle. The wall isn't even assembled yet, the goalkeeper is caught completely off-guard, and the stunned look on the opposing teams' face is pure hilarity.

Hehe - I think Leeds did that to Arsenal last season.

Talking of Leeds, wouldn't it be luuuuuvverly to see them go down ...

Never really much doubt about them winning the premiership, 1/33 odds in my workplace is crazy.
Then again I don't support Arsenal, or any other league team for that matter. It's all about the finances these days, take Leeds, they were top, now they've run out cash they're bottom, they can't afford to buy the top players from other clubs.

And when you're supporting Arsenal..how many of the players come from Arsenal?
    None? One or two maybe?

Is Arsenal even a place? The Arsenal Football Club is from London.

Arsenal is a London burrough like Chelsea is.

For the record I'm a lapsed Newcastle fan, but the last time I paid any interest was just after they bought Shearer (an actual Geordie, lol) for the then record breaking £9mill.
