<div class="IPBDescription">looking for right image</div> As you know (or maybe you don't, depends on if you visit off-topic at all) I have been seriously thinking about a HL tattoo for a long time now. I have finally decided that I will get it (so please don't try and talk me out of it).
However, the only image I have is a tiny image with an inappropriate background. If I still had a comp at home I could this myself, however all I have at the moment is this one at work (and all they have is MSPaint) so I can't do the necessary editing to make the picture larger and clearer.
If someone could please <i>please</i> Edit this picture so that I can present it to the tattooist and them not have to guess what its supposed to look like. I'd draw it but I can't draw to save my life. It has to be about 4cm across and in B&W.
Oh yeah, the other reason why I ask you lot is because maybe one of you has a better design for the HL tattoo. Has to be the Lambda symbol, preferably with a border. I don't want guns/aliens/gordons face etc on it, just a symbol. However I don't just want the average lambda + circle thing. If you can think of something better than the one below just post it on here. You never know, you could have one of your designs permanently tattoo'd on my back/shoulder thing. Yes I would post it up here for all to see, no, I won't have your signature on my forehead/chest/random body part (might consider it if your name is "hung like a donkey"... probably won't though <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->).

Anyone else equal to the challenge (I miss PS... or even the old Coral Photopaint program I had).
If anyone else can make it a little clearer, a little larger etc ?
Or submit an alternative design that you think will look far better as a HL tattoo?
im no good at designing symbols otherwise i'd help :/
Thanks Esuna, thats great. I really like them both (although the one with white lambda and dark background would be slighty more painful/expensive I think... still, you've been a big help. I might just make the knobby bits (for want of a better word) slightly more rounded but I reckon MSPaint can do that now I have a clean image to work with (I've had lots of practice).
Oh and thanks for the attempt Crack, it is appreciated and the more who wanna have a go the merrier.
Anyone think they can beat Esuna's post's? Or design something you think would look better? Have a go, if it is better I'll be glad to have it cos this is gonna go permanently on my body. So far it look's like it'll be Esuna's name that I have permanently marked into the side of my face... maybe down just the one side like some strange unshaveable muttonchop/sideburn thing-a-me-jig?

I realise the white llambda would hurt more, but i thought it looked cool. all images are re-colored versions of textures found in the hl.wad that ships with half-life.
sorry for my crapy dodge/burn lighting.... but *shrug*
Thanks for the alternate designs guys but I did want the circle border round it (as chrono says, its the classic version) although I do like the suggestions. The tribal was definitely cool but I've always said I wouldn't get a tribal tattoo, they are just so... cliche. Everyone has them and they don't have any meaning.
Keep up the flow of stuff though, it's really seriously appreciated.
