first of all I am new in this forum, so HI ;-)

Ok to my question. I am planning to attend a lan Party tomorrow. My friends there will not have steam nor an account. We will NOT have internet. Even though I would like to play some NS 3.0 with them. Is this somehow possible?
Would this work:
Installing Steam (halflife version), installing NS 3.0 plus the updates available from natural-selection.org, running steam in offline modus...
--->play?

I would be really happy if somebody could help me.

    with out him having steam your are sorta SoL

    HOWEVER, here is your soloution:
    Get both comps up todate WON installs of HL (aka install HL then patch it the normal way).

    Now, take a fullinstall of NSV3Beta3 and install it on to your computer, then take the dir created (nsp form steam\steamApps\yourEmail\Half-Life\) and copy it into the 2 half-life dirs.

    You will be g2g <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    exept for playing NS with only 2 people sucks......

    I already tried that. It SEEMS to work fine but...
    the right mouseclick does NOT open the menu somehow... And we will be like 10 or more people at the lan so it will be A LOT of fun ;-)
    Any idea about that wierd bug? I am sure my Half Life is up to date...but just to MAKE sure, what is the newest version...

    as for the popupmenu?

    1) MAKE SURE you are in OGL, D3D MIGHT work, and Software will NOT!

    2) go ingame and bind a key to the menu and try
    EX:

    You see, the problem is that mouse2 IS binded to the popupmenu. I checked that ingame with "bind mouse2". It said +popupmenu. I am always in OG, software and D3D don't work with me ;-)


    [about that playing online, are there any won based 3.0 server? If yes u got an IP?]
