    They still have some work to do.  Just because the CODE has gone gold does not mean that all the other stuff has.  They could still have some artwork and models to finish up.  Maybe the maps still need a little bit of tweaking.

    yeah i feel the same way when i see people post like that. i've waiting for quite some time. i remember when i first saw ns. i was looking at hl2 screens (hah&#33<!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo--> and someone posted about ns, and it looked awesome so i went to the site, and promptly signed up on the forum.

    Today I did some exploring, I managed to find the bsp for one of the official maps, the rmf (editing) for it and a rmf of another map.  Of course I cant tell u where I got them, that would be wrong but suffice to say...     They need to make sure that all mirrors are working properly and that they have the file(s) for download.  The also need to make sure that all of the game servers have the server-side code and that they will be ready for release.  That is why we have to wait  <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
