"It's true, after 10 years TechTV and I have parted company. I have nothing but fond memories of the channel and its people. I'll miss coming into your living room every night more than you can know.     i was informed by Grimmus, that the owner of techtv was holding Leo's contract basicaly at ransome to get more money from the merger with G4, so Leo departed becuase of that.

    Leo was like...The mascot...I mean, I guess I didnt really watch The Screensavers all that much(though I did when Martin Sargent was on there), but...Damn, he's THE Leo Laporte! There is no TechTV without him!

    Hey, it's alright! G4TV and TechTV are merging, and the folks at TechTV were greedy enough to want all of Leo's share in the channel. He left TechTV, but has informed G4 that he would love to work at the new channel once the merger is done. So he'll be back!

    but will G4 be on cable? becuase atm I don't get it, and i get 70 channels.. I got tech tv, I hope G4 goes to regular cable, without requiring a dish or directtv
