Hi, I wonder is it possible to change the speed how fast you get resources. For example you can change the damage options of the alliens. Can you also change how fast the alliens get resources. I looked in the command list but i didn?t found that option.
You will need a plugin for that, i think, ask Voogru or Hambone or someone <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
But why do you want to do that? Balancing is done by the NS developers, and i see absolutely no reason for changing it.
If you just want to practice, you can start NS with cheats enabled, then type:
givepoints
....in console. That will boost your resources. Of course, this does not work in-game. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Thanx for the info. <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->But why do you want to do that?<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> Because LAN games are not always balanced so you have to modify the balancing. fireball, rather than confusing the hell out of your comamnders/gores, ("WTH infantry portals cost 50 res?!?!" etc,) you can alter the res flow using a cvar. This was certainly present in 2.01+, and probably 1+. Not sure about NS3. Look around on the create server menu.
Anyone remember the cvar from early ns? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I am sure it existed though
