    Now am I converting both to be Marines. Because converting the Elite to the Fade Skeleton will cause the "holding arms in a wierd position" problem.

    No, as the models are in Many pieces, and theres many pieces for each level of detail. even cookie had nightmare putting the halo marine parts up together..

    btw could you extract the assault rifle and shotgun? i hate the 2 that were already made, they look like crap (ugly FA model bleh)

    There is something you gotta worry about: This is MAJOR copyright infringement. If your gonna put these out, I'd ask the original modeller, or just the company(Bungie) in general.

    i dont think that's it either. I thought it was if'n you said it was your own work, AND tried to sell it. I can see them getting **** for you converting it, but i really dont see the illegality in it.

    I am working on extracting the Fp models at the moment.. lets see how they work out..

    By the way, I am pretty sure that the in-game engine of Halo tints the master-cheifs skin itelf to create the different colour MC's in there.

    yes theres 2 skin files for MC, the SP version, and a skinfile that is purple skin that changes to the color chose(i.e Yellow or black)

    what's wrong with manipulating the mesh so that it IS in the right position?

    Perhaps some reassignment or vertice manipulation in the waist to make him look a little less like an Old Age Pensioner when in the idle pose.

    I had to rotate the mesh clockwise to fit on the LA NS Skeleton (Which is all I've done so far) The only thing left is the skinmesh.

    Then it should be alright.

    But converting the other Halo models will also encounter the same problem if the still are on the wrong axis to the NS Skeleton.

    Yeah but then import the NS Skeleton from the default NS Marine.

    You'll realise that you have to rotate the model to fit the Skeleton.
