<div class="IPBDescription">From my grandpa.</div> Here's some photos I snapped of this memory board. It's about 114 x 180 millimeters.
It's got two sets of 765 little metal rings. It's got a matrix of wires woven though them all so that a charge can be applied at any one of the rings. It's read and written to by doing something spiffy to the magnetic states of the little rings.
My grandfather gave me this along with some punchcards. It's pretty cool. I'll post some pics of the punchcards if anyone's interested enough.
