in NS General Discussion
....will have NS servers and where are some of you players from? i'm sitting in the middle east in Dubai with a DSL and i'm mad coz there is only one game server in the middle east and it's for Counter-Strike which i hate. are there any other middle east players here that want to play this mod?

also has Flayra decided that he wants this mod to be more popular than CS?

    I dunno about your first question...but for your second question, Flayra doesn't want to beat CS out, at least he never said he did. But,IMO, I think CS will have a good run for its money with NS coming out.

    I´m not worried. I live in Finland (which is in scandinavia which is in Europe), and I only have a 512/512kbps ADSL. I´m able to get a very playable ping to North-America (where I think the most servers will be locateed at the start).

    Do you mean a dedicated server? Sure I could host too but not a dedicated server (I have only 1 comp). But I´m sure everyone will be able to play. =)

    im from australia and i hope that Game Arena, Optus Net and IPGN are gonna have servers set up on release. but then again, MonsE was on the job of telling game server providers around the world about ns so im not really worried at all. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

    I'm from Singapore, me and LockanLoaded have been doing our own Pr stuff ^^

    LockanLoaded has spoken to PAGN.net about servers in the asia-pacific region and im sure it will come to that. PAGN will definetely know a good -game- when it sees one.

    also, ive spoken to my cousins over the past week and some friends abroad, so far i know of a Hongkong. Malaysia and Taiwan following of NS!
