I think he also needs gl_linear_mipmap_nearest.

That's bilinear texture filtering and nearest mip-map (e.g. bilinear in short). Need for what? Performance?

1) Your lighting, or lack thereof, is terrible. No variety, just white light, white light, white light, one after another. The computer monitor 'lighting' is so bright with the standard white lighting, it's washed out the floor in an ugly mess. Even the blue hallways look like they're being lit with a white light.
2) Your architechture is, again, boring. While it's better then most newb maps, you have mapped for C-S before, so I'll call you on this. Every room has those boring colums running up the side. You have almost nothing on your ceilings. Don't overuse your architechture, it begins to annoy players and look like ****.
3) That said, I think you do have some creative ideas there, and your architechture is still better then some newbie maps I've seen.
And on two more notes: 1) Your hosting is rediculously crapass slow, and your pictures are rediculously HUGE (350kb? Screenshots don't need to be any bigger then 50). 2) The frame you put around your pics is way too big, and quite ugly. 3) It's a siege map :/
Critisism is fine, sarcastic critisism is uncalled for.
Bacterium needs to be coming out of the hive area some, as if trying to infestate the rest of the map.
In the hive entrance hallway, add some debree, but not enought to limit movement. A little here and there adds effect.
Add some floor fluxuations, as if the bacterium is eating away at the foundation.

This is one of the best looking siege maps. Normally they are just plain uggly so your map is at least a step in the right direction... however to make this map better use some more architecture on the walls and spice up the lighting a bit...
