<div class="IPBDescription">I'm not angey, i'm urr...</div> Kinda of dawned on me just how angry I get. Its silly really, games are there to relax you and for fun, so why do I get so uptight? Ahh well, its a dumb thing and I expect thats why NS has stopped being as much fun for me. The worst part is when I get angry I start thinking I'm a pro and know everything. I'm not bad but far from pro. So whether you care or not =) i'm guna stop being an angry man and just chill and I urge all you fellow NS Ragers to take a step back, breath, smile and just blow **** up.

Angry Gamers Anonymous. You'd find lots of people on CS servers and such.

But seriously, thank you for realizing that this is a game. Games are meant to be fun, and when you have a stuck-up know-it-all on your team spouting nonsensical commands, insults, etc. The game ceases to be fun. The occassional, "Get outta base!" is appropriate...but "Move you ****ing mother ****er." isn't and demonstrates the limitations of your vocabularly. If you're going to insult people, at least be creative about it?

Cheers to those of you who realize games are for fun, and a serious reconsideration of your life aspirations is in order for those of you who don't.

An Ip was made, and then they just rushed into hive/ ms and killed each other. I am not even sure if they knew that this was an NS map. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif' />

Sigh. I should have been more forgiving. But yeah, I see your point. Rage on games is not fun; we should all try and think about others before ourselves. They are trying to enjoy the game too. If some n00b builds a random chamber first there's no point screaming bloody murder at the poor guy. Some gentle explanation of his mistakes and a permanent ban from the server is far more appropriate. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

To be honest, i play games for fun. This is why i've never looked into a clan. Sure, i'm not that great a player, but i can hold my own. I play NS for fun, but still, even though i know it's a game, and it's meant to be a form of entertainment and played for fun, i still get worked up at times. For any other game, i would laugh about someone getting angry, but in NS, it's more frequent.

Because NS <b>depends</b> on teamwork, it ruins the game if people aren't playing as a team. It pisses me off to find 4 fades on my team and not a second hive or first upgrade chamber in sight. NS isn't supposed to be about being selfish. To be honest, it's just being plain anti-social to work against the team's goals, and that really pisses me off. Thankfully on the server i reg on we've got strict teamplay rules, so if people do feel the need to ruin the game, they're booted.

All that said. Commrage is the way of the future. Everyone should commrage. It's hard to believe a commander's even commanding if you don't hear him screaming "OMG GO TO THE WAYPOINT YOU F***ING MORONS!" every two seconds. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

*EDIT: Also, just because a person swears a lot, it doesn't mean they've a limited vocabulary, it's just that the moron you're shouting at can rarely understand words longer than four letters.

I am beginning to think that normal games are played for fun and NS is played for stress relive. NS should become a standard prescription for all practicing psychiatrist. There is nothing as therapeutic as shouting at a bunch of rambos or a sc building gorge.

Yeh our CL gets a little uptight during games especily when he is trying to listen to hive sounds, even if you think of using the voice comms he will go crazy :/

I dont get stressed during games, but a good clan game is always better than a pub game
