Proper C-10

after checking the origional Starcraft instruction manual (there's a c-10 LMG mdel, but i KNEW that didn't make sense, i figured it fired canisters that fragmented on impact, so i thought it shoulld be a shotgun, but i figured i'd check the manual), the c-10 canister rifle carried by ghosts "normally fires high-explosive rounds" so... how about someone making the c-10 a GL?

    if you will take a gander at the blizzard site they have a drawn out rifle. it sais interchangable between gauss rounds, HE rounds, and lockdown rounds.

    C-10 Canister Rifle: Ghost Weapon of Choice

    Fires High Explosive impact-detonation rounds, Standard slugs, Frag rounds (shotty shells), and lockdown rounds.

    IN game only the Frag Rounds and Lockdown Rounds are used.


    This could be suitible for any thing from the LMG to the Shotty to the HMG to the GL!


    Would not work for knife or welder... obviously

    so why dont you just have an animation so when the rine picks up a weapon, he loads a different slug....

    No, what hes saying is right, the ghost canister rifle was used as a sniper rifle, regardless of the round being fired. Ocular implants enabled the ghost to see farther with his sniper rifle, and it shot one bullet at a time, with slow reload. It doesnt really fit into the LMG 50/clip fully auto scheme.

    i think it would make a good shotgun...
    i think the ghost was a shotgun in those jamesbond maps...
    i mean, LOOK at it....its a long, SLOW firing rifle...
    it shouldn't be an lmg...

    the C-14 "Impaler" Gauss Rifle should be the LMG, since it is the one used by the marines in starcraft...

    Actually, I'd argue that it best applies as a pistol replacement. (: Semi-auto, high-damage, accurate at range... sounds right to me!

    the one that was modeled, was a C-20/C-20a. But if I read right, there are several version of the "canister rifle" out in the StarCraft universe.

    Based on the rate of fire, range, and the damage type in starcraft, grenade launcher is the closest logical choice for a c-10 replacement.

    I'm sorry, but it doesn't do "explosive" damage in Starcraft, so GL wouldn't make sense. Either pistol or Shotgun would be best.

    The C-10 canister rifle does not fit into anything NS as far as SC is concerned.. C-10 fires high <b>explosive</b> canisters.. that travel in a straight line, not grenades, which flop around.
