But any ways, once your on IRC (server: irc.gamesurge.net) come to channel #NSTrain - talk to us in there, we will take you into a server, and teach you how to command.. and what commander is/does.. Im currently working on a tutorial page for commander at the moment for our website.. it isnt complete yet but we'd be happy to hear from you and ANY other new players who are confused about anything, our website is <a href='http://nstrain.readyroom.org/' target='_blank'>http://nstrain.readyroom.org/</a> our forums are located there also.

How to get on IRC
go to <a href='http://www.mIRC.com' target='_blank'>www.mIRC.com</a> and download a program called mIRC (stands for Miraballis IRC) - once its downloaded, and installed open it up, you will be presented with large window, and a bkx thats asking for your nickname etc..
Type in a name, e-mail address, and the nickname you wish to use on IRC... also
type in an alternative nickname (incase your fhirst choice is taken)
Then, on the left you will see a menu. Expand the "Connect" section (click the little [+] then click Servers....
Click the ADD button.. then in "Description" type GameSurge
Under IRC Server: type irc.gamesurge.net
Under Group: type GameSurge
Leave everything else how it is and click the ADD button..
next simply click "Connect to Server"
You will see alot of text scrolling up the screen... dont worry this is perfectly normal.. Once you get a pop up box called "mIRC Favourites" click on ok..
Now, at the bottom of the window.. you'll see an area where you can type.. In there.. type the following (you can copy and paste if you wish)
Type: /join #NSTrain,#NaturalSelection
This will make you join the 2 channels, #NSTrain and #NaturalSelection
From there-on you can chat away to people.. you will pick the rest of it up as you use mIRC.. Good luck and have fun

-read a manual
-find a server with ppl of the land ur living in/speak the same language as you.
