It's only one year ago, but it was the best (half) year of my life, so if I'm going to relive a year over again, it's going to be the one where I took AP Physics, took German 5, met foreign people from Germany, Moldova (especially her) and Japan.
My dad would also still be alive, and then I could visit him/my cousin during the summer. Christmas was fairly nice. Mostly for the foreign exchange student in high school from Moldova.
Got a 4 on my AP Physics test, tested out of math for college, and into upper level english. It was just an awesome year for me overall, I guess (school was pretty easy too, one thing I would change would be not taking Psychology, but it was an okay class, even if the teacher sucked). Of course, if the girl from Moldova answers the letter I sent a few weeks ago (...I didn't acquire her address until recently...) then I might have to replace 17 with 18 (since I am 18).
Of course, if you're just going on basic actions and happenings, and not reliving a year over and over (possibly fixing some stuff, like in Groundhog Day)...I'd have to go with 4 or 5...during the days of atari...or 13 nowadays. Since 13 would have let me do pretty much what I wanted and it would be awesomely fun to run around all night and have easy middle school assignments (except the whole puberty deal).
If I had to go back though, I guess being 4 would be nice. No school yet, don't yet know the horrors of society, and my two best friends: Colecovision and Atari 2600. Nothing to worry about except those <a href='http://www.ataritimes.com/2600/reviews/pitfall2.html' target='_blank'>god damn balloons</a>....
ok if you are happier how you are at current.. what is it that makes that better then your teens?
The whole 'responsibility' thing associated with work and stuff is blown way out of proportion in my mind... work is just school except you get paid XD
Buuut I don't take much seriously in life; sometimes I understand why people say I'm young for my age lol
Now I'm almost afraid of everything....aye, life has turned me yellow-livered. Sucks doesn't it?
Met alot of new people and done alot of new stuff, etc and i'm loving it <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I'm not back to Uni until 16september, got to get a job <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I've already finished college a few years back, so the education thing is done. Although I might go back to expand on my education/experience in a year or two. I've got a bit of real-world experience now in electronics engineering, so now I have some idea what specilization I'd want to work for.
My current job sucks, but at least I'm getting paid well to do it, and it has the potential to open more doors. I look at some other people I know and their jobs, and I'm quite thankful that at least mine has the opportunity for advancement.
All this aside, sure, there are some decisions I wish I'd made differently. But I've never been one to dwell on what-could-have-been. Overall, I'm happy where I am now, and can't think of any other point in my life that I wish I could go back to.
I prefered when I was young and ignorant, and didn't know about self-mutilation and drugs and everything. Bad stuff.
But I definetely do like sex and driving and getting closer to college, so I also do like this age...
But then again, school is so stressful at this time in my life since it will determine my college and all that, so there's another reason for young and ignorant.
*shrugs*
How bout I just stay 17, and the world fixes itself?
14 !

I would be going out with my GF
I would know to make my last year of HS a better one (instead of being depresed, etc <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
HS Rocks so much........
There is like no work...
Every one has free time....
And I would be back in NYC with all of my friends......
Roll on Uni!
I wish i can return to 8 it was fun having no worrys
That was the time I got some serious pay back for all the bullying I had gotten over past 3 years, I was no longer the little guy that was always getting beat up by the bigger kids I could look most of them in the eye now and was a hell of a lot bigger built than them.
Got suspended quite a lot in that final year at skool but it was worth it, 3 years of torment and agony all bottled up then unleashed on the ****s that had caused it went a long way to recovering my sanity.
So eh.
If I could pick an age to go back to... It'd be 15. C'mon, I wanna drive this century. Freakin' hell.
Than again im having fun now too, just have more annoyances than i did than (lack of money <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
you don't realize youth is to be treasured until it's far to late <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Because it absolutely sucked. I hate everyone I went to Grade School/Jr. High/High School with except for maybe 5 people. The rest could have all died in some horrible manner and I'd be happy. I was absolutely miserable during those years, and only now that I'm in college am I less miserable (and lately, outright happy about things).
Hey! That sounds like the point I'm at now!

Nah, that's too old for me. Even at 11-13 you had SATs, annoying teachers/subjects and heaps of homework.
I'd choose around 7-9, when school was nothing but fun and games of the time were excellent. I had nothing to worry about basically.

Well, I'm 15 and feel like I've lived for aeons. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

In Wisconsin you have to take your cool ...progress tests...at grades 4, 8 and 10 (or something like that)...So you'd still get the big (not quite so important) tests <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->.
Of course, it depends if you can go back and repeat a year over and over, staying the same age; go back and grow up again or some other 3rd option I can't think of anymore...
I've found that life seems to speed up the older you get. When I was in 4th grade it took forever for school to end, and days seemed to last forever, now it seems they're pretty short and I can't find the time (except on those boring days).
