I have set team 1 and 2 to human in info_gameplay.
I have set comm chair to team1 and team 3.
I have 10 team 1 spawns and 10 team 2 spawns.
I have 20 info_playerstarts.
I have 4 amorys, 2 set for team 1 and 2 set for team 2.
Everything is flaged built on start.
But this is what happens:
1. round ends without achieving objective of comm chair. seems like round ends in less than a minute. 2. once first round is over, map doesnt restart correctly. ppl stay dead or spawn in the ready room.

Mr.Bill posted one (a .rmf with the entities needed) a few things back.
In the CC thing, make sure that you're not using SmartEdit... Becase you might be setting the value to "Team 3" instead of just "3" (setting the value to team 2 and team 1 with SmartEdit works fine, since they automatically covert to the correct number, but no other values will be converted [ie, "Team 7" won't become "7"])

While taking a little break from my co_*fall maps (until beta 4 is released), I've decided to make a MvM map too. I'm currently calling it co_mvm_arena and should be ready for first beta testing this coming week.
I'd recommend other mappers making a MvM map to take the normal "co_" prefix and make it "co_mvm_" prefix as a standard. This will make it easier to tell which maps are mvm style.
So has anyone decided on the pre-fix, we should have a poll. Right now I'm renaming all the maps i get here to co_mm_yaddayadda cause I heard people throw this out.
K, I don't think you people are getting me, AvA works, in a way, there are currently 2 test maps (that were publicly tested but desided not to release publicly (like on forums or irc rooms) the names being co_gar2 and co_gar2v2, the first one has severe spawning issues and was deemed unplayable. The second one has a fix for it, but still it's a real buggy one, using teleporters, It was said that AvA was way too buggy to be released, you CAN play ava (onos eating onos, mind you if one has regen, he never dies (kind of a bug) I could list many, MANY map bugs that would just make peope complain about how buggy it is, but if you TRUELY want to try them you'll have to find someone who has co_gar2v2, it has semi-working spawns, but again a bug list that's a mile long.
and the .rmf was posted by "hi!" I cant stress out how good of a job he did on that.
and lastly, MVAVMVA IS impossible, even trying to find loop holes around it dosn't work, heres the reason: You Can't Make New Teams. Mahnsawce and I have been working on a plugin to fix AvA. I'll try to explain why AvA isn't working right now.
In MvM it worked like this: -Team 1 acts normal -Team 2 depends on a team 3 chair, but could only heal a team 2 chair. The fix for this is to spawn a team 2 chair where the team 3 chair is, move the team 3 chair away, and kill the team 3 chair when the team 2 chair dies.
In AvA what happens is: -Team 2 acts normal -Team 1 depends on a team 4 hive. Just like MvM they cannot heal the hive and they are able to attack it. A team 1 hive needs to be spawned in place using the same method that was used with the comm chairs. It's more complicated than it seems though. Mahnsawce and I haven't figured out how to spawn in a team 1 hive yet. Anyone know how team_hives are handled?

Looks like Lazer found out why the ns_mvm maps crash. Look at <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68487&st=15' target='_blank'>THIS</a> thread.
If you still don't get it, I will explain: the map crashes beacuse of the res nodes. My map didn't crash because there were no res nodes, only the rt's themselves. There's still the problem of the round not starting for team 3 and the spawn problem, though.
Edit: I guess that if we can get the team 3 commander to work, we can make maps like siege, but with all the rt's in a safe place and starting built. I guess the inability to use res nodes is a real obstacle for making real ns MvM maps. :/
Ya, I'm trying to find a way to get the round to start for team 3 since the commander can't drop anything without it. I'm sure I could code a workaround for the res problem, I just needa get the round for team 2 starting.
now my guess, being based on the SIMPLEST of logic (the same that got me to the conclusion of MM working) is that team 2's cc, LIKE MM, needs ot be set to teasm 3, or an extra cc for all, unless your cc's are already set to 3, then try 4, you never know with these things <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

is glowing server side only or is there a console command for it that u can activate if non tournament maode is on. In other words is there a way to glow without running a dedicated server?
I intend to set up a dedicated rine v rine only server but i want to run a non-dedicated server for some of my friends first to test out good numbers for the different maps and such. But cant figure out how to get glow without rnning dedicated.
