Why Cant I Connect To A Server?

heres one of the messeges it gives me when i try to connect to a server. another messege i get is that my maps differ from the servers...
i dont see how this is possible, i went onto fileshack.com got ns install version 3.0 beta 1. then i got beta 1 to beta 2, and then beta 2 to beta 3. so i should have version 3.0 beta 3 right? so why cant i connect!
