How Do I Clean The Registry?

<div class="IPBDescription">BF:V</div> Ok I'll be honest here- I did something illegal.

I took my LEGAL copy of Battlefield: Vietnam, and got a safedisc crack(so I can run it. Safedisc makes games run 60% worse). But because I couldn't remove it or uninstall my game, I just deleted it. But now, its still in my registry, so I can't install it, and I can't uninstall it because its not there.

So how do I clear it off my registry?(and no, I'm not gonna be trying that again...)

    Run -> regedit --> HKEY LOCAL MACHINE --> EA Games --> I'm assuming the folder will be called BF:V. Just delete that.

    Use <a href='http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-download/archives/reg-cleaner4.3.htm' target='_blank'>RegCleaner</a>, it will scan for unused reg keys and will also show you what registry items are associated w/ your startup. Awesome program.

    ** But yes, these are useful programs. Run em anyway, because even if you don't get it to combat a specific problem, it will fix loads others that you never even knew you had.
