Trying to start it up again.
Updated April 26
We have selected 12 US people to be interviewed. However, we could use more people from South America, Australia and Europe as there have been a couple applications from those areas and we could use more. Please when you apply, INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL
If your in the US, I'm sorry but we have enough people so please don't apply for now.
Once again, PM Vinin
Original Post
This first post will be updated with all future changes.
NOTE: Flayra has not yet approved of this, the goal of this is to get a small group together with some organization then to bring it forward to him.
We would like to attempt to bring back the NSGuide program as with recent versions of NS the influx of inexperienced players has been quite high and the calibre of play on pubs has dropped dramatically. Not all servers of course are as bad as others, but in general there is a serious problem.
Vinin, Khaim & I are going to try to organize a small group for now, to get organized, then bring it forward to Flayra to see what he thinks.
We are looking for helpful, friendly players who have a good knowledge of the game. Its a perk if you idle on IRC as you become easier to contact.
We were hoping for 3 people from each of the following areas:
Europe
West Coast
East Coast
Central
If you are interested please send Vinin a PM as he is going to filter through the first set of PM's. In the PM please state why you are interested, how long you have been playing NS, and why you should be an NSGuide, as well as an e-mail address if we need to send out an e-mail of some sort.
Just a reminder, Flayra has not yet approved of this, the whole point of this is to get organized then to bring the idea forward to him.
Please, if you don't want the NSGuide program back, stay out of this thread and let us try to accomplish something helpful.
Thanks,

If you can not reach me via PM, my email is open to the public, use that.
ATM we are only trying to start the program up, we could bring more people in from there, we just don't want a whole bunch of people thinking it is going to go fo sure, then finding out Flayra doesn't want to do it.
This is just getting organized for now.
*Cough Set up Question*
This should be a great addition everyone, I give it my full support. If you have just joined ns I must sincerly say that it would be beneficial to give this a try.

If thats directed for me, two places you can check out are
#findnsclan
This is a place for people to find a lot of various clans. Clans want YOU! Its pretty easy and its a good place to start out in a clan.
#nspug
Great place to start getting the feel of 6v6 tourney play. Its really easy , everyone should try it.
Its registered, so until I hear differently we shall keep it going.
The more competent players, the more competent games, the more competent games, the closer we are to reaching the goal of teamwork, strategy, tactics and skill, that can increase in the overall NS population.
It was a little club that was started a while back that was geared to help new players into the game. It was an effort to help new players not get frustrated with the complexities from switching to ns from cs .
That wasn't specified before. You can apply, but no guarantees.
i would think all are welcome to applie
*bump*
I was close to being an original member but that was back when the original program died out, there was no point in me joining as guides didn't do much towards the end.
But I would love to see this pop up again.
Anyway, I'm currently sorting through the South American applications, mostly from Brazil, other areas are welcome.
I would also encourage more European entries as we finally have people familiar with the Euro community to help us pick guides.
