<div class="IPBDescription">Is Beta 4 going to be distributed via BT</div> I love BitTorrent as a P2P file-sharing program it is great for legal files because it allows to the file to be distributed as fast as possible. I was wondering if there was going to be a BT of Beta 4 available? I know I would leave the BT open especially over night and when I go drinking this weekend. Anyhow so what's the deal?

    I don't find BT that fast, most of the time I can get it from a download site alot quicker.

    Yea, if you look through the mirrors you might get one that isn't swamped. That is quite annoying. With BT you got an almost guaranteed connection that will get a decent speed especially with a popular file. I have had a BT that I got 1.6 mbps, which sounds impossible but Steam who hired the BT guy, I get 3.0 mbps. There is a lot of BTs out there which are highly unseeded and illegal. With legal files though I have gotten outrageous speeds, especially during release day.

    Torrents are good if you can't download it for a while; shortly after release it's much faster to just look for a less used mirror. Of course, by the time torrents are well seeded enough to pick up speed, the main mirrors aren't crowded anymore.

    Damn, it almost seems like I'll have to learn to use BT. Heard so much about it (both positives and negatives) but have never been too fond of p2p softwares except one that's ok which is DC.

    From what I understand if all goes well beta4 will be available this evening. It looks like it will be a fairly small download too so I wouldn't worry about it too much.
