Soldat is definately up there, as mentioned previously. Its fun, addicting, full of blast-everything-in-sight gameplay, and its FREE! (I use that term loosely)

No problems recoup. Unfortunately, I can't get them to work very well under Win2k. I got Populous working well. Apoc was a fight that I thought I'd won, but then after 2 months in-game time, it has started crashing again. Perhaps, it's time to build a Win98 SE system. I'd love to go through Syndicate Wars again. Wasn't that the first isometric game ?
Oh, and I missed Grim Fandango off the list. Just slipped my mind. Naughty me.

The game itself is quite funny. For example, if you go to a derelict house you will see graffiti for P.A.G. (Parents Against Graffiti). Or when you go to get a new alternator for your car. "Hi, I need an alternator for a 1986 Daf**ku." Then you go to take a present to your religious cult leader uncle. When you turn up you see tanks, soldiers, SWAT and police cars. "Whoa, Uncle Joe's having a party!"
And when you finish the game you get some stats. "Cats violated with a weapon, doors kicked in, gallons of pee peed, dogs eliminated, cats destroyed..."
