Do you think it is ever appropiate to ask (whenever a time came for it) a friend "what kind of a friend am I to you? Am I a friend that is annoying etc etc etc" that sort of stuff.
Or is it not appropiate to ask at all because you yourself should be able to find the answer yourself?

I can see how it can put a person in the spot.....Even then if for me, if i was asked the question I would just say the truth perhaps. Its not right to be trying to pretty up the words. If the friend is crap, I would state why I find the friend crap.

The only problem is it might seem like your fishing for compliments and so you shouldn't really ask too often.
Nothing wrong with asking but be careful how you do it... and who you do it too, it is quite possible that you will be expected to reciprocate so don't ask anyone who you don't have a high opinion of.
