<div class="IPBDescription">SECOND MODEL. EVER.</div> (actually, first, since the real "first" is a tube, modified.)

I'm going to trim some polies in the handle, I dunno if I will get this into HL (NS, SC, TS, whatever) since at this stage, its 3100 polies or sommat.

The model is based on the unused ghost rifle concept on the Starcraft: Ghost website.

    Not bad

It's obviously a work in progress, and I agree that most of the polies are in the handle, so once you trim those it should be good.

Aim for 2,000 polys max; 1,000 would be even better but I know that's hard in a complex model. Given the number of cylinders, I wouldn't go beyond 8 sides

For starters, if you use cylinders with more then 12 sides. reduce them to 12 if the diameter is short reduce them to 8. You will save a whole lot of polys just doing that.

the cylinders have 10 sides max, for the ones in the back and the trigger guard, I used 5 sided.
