xenocide is extremely powerful... especially if there is any degree of team work and more than one skulk does it into the same group of marines one just after another... if it was a silenced attack aswell, would essentially turn skulks into proimity mines - you hear a marine (or group of marines) come near, start the timer, boom, blow them up - there is absolutely nothing they can do if they not got MT

If this is classic, then marines had better have mt by the time aliens have 3 hives, or they are probably so far behind in tech that it doesn't matter anyway. If this is combat, be happy the skulk spent 4 points on xeno and silence rather than being a focus fade, and is also using an attack that puts it in the spawn queue every time (especially with the current spawn system).

personally I haven't tested it, but I'm too busy with other, more entertaining stuff to play NS. I'm almost certain scream still goes during b3, but never touched some of the earlier betas...
