Where do I get one?
Does anyone know where (preferably in the UK) I can get a headset mic that I can use with the headphones I already have? All the mics I've seen come attached to headphones.

A lot of people will just buy a cheap headset and wear that around their neck, with some actual headphones on their ears.

It works. You look like a goof, but it works

it might be risky but GO INFRONT OF YOUR HOMEs DOOR.

cheap headsets in every computer hardware shop.
good headsets in any music instruments shop.

See, I think the problem is that there aren't any headsets attached to really good headphones. You'd think, with all the games coming out now with built in voice chat, one of the headset/headphone makers would jump on that market. I know I would drop 75-100 bucks on a sick set of cans with a mic attached.

HMD-280's (Sennheiser HD-280's with an attached mic) run around $200.

Definately the AHS 502s. I got mine for $35 CDN, so they should only be around $25 US these days.
