Ahh yes, I heard about this.

Man, I wish I had believed the guy.

Do they gather 1 res each, or does it display 5 RT's but only collects 1 RT worth?

From looking at the screenshot it looks like just 1 res a second. This is very easy to do. Just the building to a hotkey and press it alot. buildings drop so slow now you can stack anything.. I really hope they fix this.

Its actually hard to tell how much res it gives, because wouldnt the +1 res overlap given the fact that it is the same exact location and it feeds res at the same time correct? So wouldnt it be rather hard to determine unless your in game to decide whether it feeds 1 or 4 res per second ? And no, this was not done with hotkeys, 2 were done after the other, then 2 more were done atleast 30 seconds after.

if you don't build cargo and reception you can manage to get 8 rts on one node, and they give you the res for each rt. we had 8 res a second, it was pro. 2 min fade <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Only problem is if the marines move in... aliens are pretty much screwed after spending all that res on those RTs. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

But yes, this is an old bug that was once fixed, but seems to have broken again.

Yes, each RT will bring in resources. We got 6 RTs on one node at one point, but the too many structs thing was mean to us =P

I'll hold off on saying how to do it, because 7 RTs at double is baaaaad <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

im pretty sure this happens on all maps with nodes close together, on seige and superseige you can do this with almost any node. you dont need to do any trick, in seige i found it out because i tried to put down a tower and it took my res but the node was still bare, and i thought crap, so i waited till another 15 were there and same thing happend again. another guy was doin the same thing, then we realized all the towers were on 1 node. we ended up getting enough towers so every few secs we would have 100 res. well actually 99, theres a bug in the game that only lets you have 1 less than your spose to. this has already been brought it up in the bug forum.

they all gain rez (at the same time and at the right rate) and you can even mix rts types on the same nod. im just glad the bug was fixed before it became well known.

Actually it isn't fixed yet. It is fixed so it doesn't work on every node, but still works on double nodes, and I've seen it unbalance alot of games.

ive seen that happen in b4 before
Right when the game starts when only aliens had people, it had a res node with alien res node and marine res node together. Fixed when game started though.
