Hive/comchair/other Building

<div class="IPBDescription">Ever going to be fixed?</div> Are the hive/comchair hitboxes ever going to be fixed? both are way to big for the moddle. Work has been done on player hitboxes, but the building hitboxes still need work. Like alien upgrade chambers, it seems like sc/mc have the DC hitbox (or are just to big). Try experamenting with shooting just beside alien chambers.

    Well if it WAS a problem it would probably be fixed already... but it's not much of a problem at all... chances are you'll never have to be shooting PAST a CC or hive... not to mention upgrade chambers. And the only reason I can see the hive as much of any problem right NOW, is for lerks gassing from the top of the hive.

    Its definately a problem, such as intentionally stacking chambers to avoid killing them, that is probably the safest spot for chambers. (Vents can be stacked into easily and destroyed)

    I think being able to have all your bullets hit while having a wall block the ochambers bullets is a problem. The hit box is way to big and this is exploited constantly. If you are a lerk ontop of a hive and try to spore marines bellow you wil hit the hive instead. I never noticed cc and since aliens are melee not range it doesnt matter. I do think o chambers and hive need fixing.

    ever tried shooting a skulk from distance when its munching the cc?

    half the shots go into sparks b/c u hit ther cc instead.

    hitboxes have been fixed enough for some time.

    At the bottom entrance going into AE35 System Controls (ns_ayumi) if a com places CC's to obstruct the path at the bottom of the stairs, it's almost impossible to shoot the hive because the comchair hitbox is much taller then it seems.

    This doesnt happen only in that location, I am just giving an example of how it can cause problems. I am also not complaining about CC blocking.
