<div class="IPBDescription">mic</div> guys i really need someone to help me out i cant play ns without my mic it just doesnt feel right. my mic works perfectly in windows. but doesnt work on HL any of the mods. i have one bad mofo of a computer and i know it not my mic or any other hardware that i have its all new and updated. i even tried to reinstall steam,and natural selection..please guys help it echoes and then static, cant hear me at all..

    I just started having the same problem. Plus my sound in Natural Selection (and in nothing else) is suddenly all fuzzy and crappy and basically useless. I can't figure out what is wrong or how to fix it. My mic suddenly doesnt work in it either. Does anybody know what is wrong with our systems?

    The mic in NS2.0 is fine but in the beta/steam versions, the mic has gone noisy,jumpy and downright crappy.

    How this is happening is beyond me, but its NOT your computers.

    well i know for a fact its not my mic i check on all 3 of my boxes and its perfeact in windows but wont work in HL. so it must be a bugg or something or our settings are all wrong ...and whats messed up is its default settings..steam needs o get it together mang.. i mean it works in teamspeak,yahoo,windows sound recorder,msn,wilco,etc..im sure you get the point...

    have u tryed changing your audio options in the NS in game options? i belive you can alter it to suit your mic. what about the mic configure program which came with halflife. does that work correctly?

    WHAT MIC CONFIGURE TOOL ARE YOU REFERRING TO? I DONT KNOW OF ANY HL CONFIG PROGRAM THAT SETS MY MIC SO IT WILL WORK ONLY UNDER OPTIONS THEN VOICE IS WHERE I HAAVE EVER SEEN MIC OPTIONS LIKE TEST MIC AND MIC BOOST INPUT VOLUME AND OUTPUT VOLUME....IT WORKS FINE WITH EVERY OTHER VOICE PROG I HAVE .........CAN SOMEONE MAYBE SEND ME THEIR VOICE CONFIG FILE OR HELL THE WHLE CONFIG FILE THAT HAS VOICE SETTINGS ON IT?<!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
