<div class="IPBDescription">This is why ns sucks for now</div>NS as a game is great. The graphics, sounds, and gameplay rock. But the game still sucks for one main reason. THERE ARE NO UNLOCKED, GOOD, RELIABLE SERVERS.

Every server i see that is good has a lock on it or is always full. WTF is up with all the locked servers? Does anyone else see this?<!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo--> I was very lucky this last night at like 3<!--emo&:0--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'><!--endemo-->0am when nice serever opened up and let me join. I had a ping of 70 and finnaly got to see what ns was like.
As soon as there are more servers there wont be much of a problem.

    What do you need to host a server?  Nice spec's on your comp I imagine.

    Actually, the reason that they are all locked is because they get flooded if they are unlocked.  Now, normally this is what you are looking for when you run a server, but NS has the issue with CPU usage that cripples even the best machine.

    My company will be hosting NS servers as soon as the patch to fix this is out.  Until then, our only NS server is locked and limited...everybody mobbed it as soon as it was up, so we didn't have a choice.

    I don't think it's fair to say 'NS sucks' for a problem we have no control over. (aside from fixing the lag problem, of course.)

    Considering most of the dev team reads these forums too, I'd prefer it if you could refrain from using insensitive comments like that. Thanks <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    I haven't found any low ping servers, but they'll fix it, and it's a great mod! If you don't look on the Marines side - one of them can take out a resource base, an Aliean can't...
