heres meh model doesnt have those neato little holes, no skin, the smoothin groups arent set... and i suck at rendering...

oh and i dunno if this has been modeled or anything just a pic i copied and pasted off google image search thing... dont accuse me off all that copyright bull...

If that were the default model, the 30 damage per slash would be justified. Ouch.

Make the holes in the blade. You can use booleans since Maya's boolean feature is very very good. Expect a polycount of 1500 or so with the holes. (Triangulate your knife before exporting to OBJ!)

im not using maya... i think i have a learners copy tho... i was using 3dsmax 6 or and when i use its boolean deal it makes the holes but it doesnt make like a wall so if u look into the holes youll see right through the knife, let me put it this way, youll see the backfaces of the other side of the knife... ill make a link to dl it if anyone wants to work on it later

I'd do it... but even after 3 weeks, I still suck with MS3D (I haven't the patience to go at it ATM... I just can't find a good tuitorial... *crys*)

If someone can make the side you attack with serrated half to all the way up the blade, it would be the perfect knife, and I would use.

cmoon when are you gonna finnish my knife! its not hard to texture a knife... maybe this 1 tho if its gonna be really pretty
