Angel Series Finale
<div class="IPBDescription">possible SPOILERS.</div> <span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:red'><span style='font-family:Impact'>WARNING. WARNING. SPOILERS IMMINENT. PREPARE THE "BACK BUTTON" DRIVE.</span></span></span>
Well, I just saw it, and I can say it was a little...disappointing. There's not much else the writers could have done, but it was interesting all the same. There were a lot of unanswered questions left. However, I am glad to see they stopped taking themselves seriously in the end. The script had a lot more one liners and humor in general than the most of the episodes in the last season. What did you think, if you decided to watch it?
Apologise for the bad english-it's 10:30 at night. I normally go to sleep around 10:00.

i never actually followed angel, so the finale seemed your typical "oh demon, let's go kill it!" episode. my loss i guess. smallville season finale was better though.
I was a little disappointed too, but not because of the ending, more because of the lack of a proper fight for Spike, the killing of Lindsay (which didn't seem to really fit) and the excessive speed at which everything progressed.
Should have been a 2 hour special, really.
Yeah. They had way too many plot lines to tie up for 1 hour.
BT is your answer. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Agreed. I so hate fox! They cancel all the good shows. Angel, Firefly, Futurama....the list goes on my friends! <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Other then that. I loved that show.. I mean. come on David(Angelus).. he is so hot and with James(Spike).. couple of very fine young men. They were just beginning to get their wings spread too, I mean acting wise.. it took them a while to develop their characters during Buffy .. and Buffy's last two seasons I thought were really good. I actualy prefered the more serious matters then not. But I am kind of peculiar that way. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
i believe you got that the other way around?
Look: <a href='http://www.thewb.com/Shows/Show/0,7353,%7C%7C139,00.html' target='_blank'>http://www.thewb.com/Shows/Show/0,7353,%7C%7C139,00.html</a>
Same with Smallville: <a href='http://www.thewb.com/Shows/Show/0,7353,||126,00.html' target='_blank'>http://www.thewb.com/Shows/Show/0,7353,||126,00.html</a>
Why would another network have a website for it? I also checked the FOX website and there is no mention of either of these shows.
Networks often sell the rights to a tv show to another network. Thats what happened with Buffy the Vampire slayer; Fox sold it to UPN <a href='http://www.tvtome.com/BuffytheVampireSlayer' target='_blank'>http://www.tvtome.com/BuffytheVampireSlayer</a>
Here's more proof if you dont believe me: <a href='http://www.tvtome.com/Angel/' target='_blank'>http://www.tvtome.com/Angel/</a>
Notice the part where it says network? IT SAYS WB, NOT FOX <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif' /><!--endemo-->
EG. Valve produced Half-Life, and sierra distributed it.
There were talks by weadon about a possible revival by another network. Hopefully one of the other sharks will hone in for the kill and bring it back.
I wasn't expecting much, so I wasn't too dissapointed. However, Spike pretty much saved this series for me. I hope he does get a spin off show. As long as they give him a different take on the hunting and slaying, anyway. The first few series would be great, and after that, the writers would screw up as usual. :/
It's the best one by far <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Isn't Jim Henson dead?
They own the copywrite on "Muppets".

I'm pretty sure it was the Jim Henson Company who made them.
Oh god that was hilarious. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Even moreso when the police showed up and had them move off the WB property (they apparently own the sidewalk and traffic signal at each of their gates, for security reasons)... and they moved down and were picketing a gas station about five blocks away. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Honestly, I never really watched it so it didn't affect me much... 'Buffy' made me incredibly cynical toward the whole series of shows. In fact, the only lousy part is that Spike's stunt double won't be picking up any more residuals from the re-runs, and he hangs out at a get-together once or twice a month. Sucks for him, has to look for work now (well, beyond doing 'tarot readings' where he cold-reads the sucke^H^H^H^H^Hclient).

I'm not a religous man, but amen to that network!
Although the sexy Eliza Dushku (who played Faith in Buffy and starred a few times in Angel) got her own spin off show not so long ago which is again, another one of Whedon's creations. Check out Tru Calling <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

LOL
I just watched it, what an ending! I loved it...
