The story behind this Shaye St. John character is something along the lines of her being a mentally ill burn victim who lives in a compound in LA with a bunch of her "friends", i.e. burnt baby dolls. Apparently she let a student filmmaker named Eric Fournier in to document her day-to-day life.
The real gist is whoever's behind Shaye St. John is a performance artist in LA, someone related to the CIA. (California Institute of Abnormal, or something like that)
