my friends and me want to play NS 3.0 on a private LAN-Party with about 6 Players.
We dont know how to play in Multiplayer with Steam, is there a Version without Steam on the Halflife base? I know it is availible for CS..
Is there a possibility to play without Internet Access on Steam without a Dedicated Server?
Please help me!
Can you install Steam without Internet Access only with a file or something?

You mean a non-steam server? Well you could use the old HLServer pack, but it is possible to start a steam server. Run Ns and select "start server".

Yes. A dedicated server is recommended though.

You can isntall steam without net access, but you must have signed-in to the steam network at least once, with a valid cd-key, to then play a LAN game.
