a very good guide for beginners with usefull tips for every important game aspect.
maybe you could add that you have to aim devour like a normal weapon with a crosshair. the enemy must be exactly in the center. maybe a little explanation how to give devour the shotgun crosshair (my favorite for devour, bite and bite2).

you can copy paste this text or just edit the existing file. important is the first number in the upper left corner which has to be changed from 6 to 10 and the last line which gives the position and style of the crosshair (copy paste it when there is no such line. otherwise just change the crosshair name to xhairsg [shotgun ch]).

edit: the "10" seems to trigger that the crosshait is shown and you can examine all the other weapon txts and look for the crosshair names. atm i have a skulk/lerk bite and devour crosshair. this helps to distinguish if you have bite or leap selected, too.

Oh, the difference in running speed IS very slight. Marines are slow and need all the help they can get. I guess the real problem is armory humpage.
We should also get people to translate it and even possibly have some reference/link to a similar help thing on the NS main page or within the install... Have both a tip/technical manual and a fiction one like the 1.0x one...
As for the ammo, I really would go for the 50+100ish ammo as for that extra few seconds on the field, chances are the comm will lead you to a skulk, which in turn leads you to a few res (not to mention map control) which can bring you an ammo pack. And if you actually die, you didn't lose time...

I'd love to know if these numbers are still accurate. Anyone want to find and read all the change logs since 1.04? Or test it?
