Well, at least it isn't as bad as my day when I lost my glasses.
Just watching the lens pop out of glasses and into the filtration tank for no apparent reason was a little funny and a little stupid lol
Ah well, that wasn't the worst bit. The worst bit was when I got them new specs.
Head over to the optometrist, take tests like usual and when you're done he says 'wow you're almost blind....' and blablabla, usual stuff.
Next when we were given the price, it was around $150USD, not so cheap considering my family is in the bucket right now. That wouldn't be the bad part though, the bad part is my mom nagging at me about the glasses being so expensive for 2 weeks. Imagine the horror of it, your mom nagging at you for 2 weeks nonstop makes you want to kill yourself.
But I've almost gotten worse though, like getting run over by a bus or a truck?
Which reminds me, I have to cross a road that is full of non-top working trucks and have to be careful not to get run over. They carry real big containers so I wouldn't stand a chance against them should I get run over.

get a car. also one of my mates ran about 5 miles to meet us in time because he missed the train. he did catch up and later that day he stepped in a dog's water bowl full of water and spilt coke on himself a bit later on. this would have never happened if he had a car XD
And now your just in the right mood to play the "half-quake" MOD for HL. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Does this 'Key-Skills' exam have anything to do with homonyms? Aside from cracking jokes about grammar, I too would want to know if you could retake the exam.
I don't believe we have anything similar at my college, but I'll have to assume you're in Europe. On another note, I have to say: While it is a lousy day, I wouldn't consider it an overly bad or terrible day. Maybe like finding out you failed two tests when you were expecting B's or something (which is bad, I'll grant it, but not 'the-end-of-the-world-for-me!' bad.
<!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> it was a fun read. The best teachers are the ones that 'force' you to take that 0. (moral at the end, if you don't want to read the next part)
Had a **** of a prof, gave me a 0 on a test b/c I missed the exam by ONE HOUR OMG! I forgot that I couldn't go to lunch before class... because class was during lunch.. Was a very stupid mistake to make, and I had to pay the price for it. I ended up with a B due to the fact that I not only aced the other 2 exams, but got a high A on my final exam (and he felt really bad if he gave me a C- because I was missing 1/3 of my test score points, which accounted for 80% of the total class points.) It was the second time I had taken the class, and he reprimanded me for my 'errant behavior' in class a few times before that exam as well. I proved to him that I was very competent, and I think I was quite lucky he decided that giving me a crappy grade due to him being an **** wasn't a suitable reward for excelling in a class that I had previously not understood.
Moral of the story: do your homework, work your tail off, and "missing that test" won't be the end of your life. And expect life to not go your way, how else can rich people laugh at you?
I can`t really sympathize since I`ve had weeks of crappiness.
All through grade 9 I was pretty much the reject and didn`t have a SINGLE FRIEND! So yeah, I was on the verge of twitching myself after that. In fact, if it werent for my best friends I`d be dead on a rope right now.

If that was one of your worst days of your life, I wish I was you.
I mean, yeah, it sucks and all, but worse things happen everyday.
The moral is to be better prepared for exams.
