<div class="IPBDescription">Time to turn the tables</div>This stratigy starts when your second hive is finished, but it will make you a force to be recond with... well of cource that is before they get grenades and fill your hives with turets. <!--emo&::sentry::--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/turret.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='::sentry::'><!--endemo-->
Step 1: making a more effective attack key pattern
In your consol type-
bind q “slot3;+attack;wait;-attack; bind mouse1 sp1”
alias sp1 “+attack;wait;wait;wait;-attack;wait;slot1;+attack;wait;-attack;bind mouse1 +attack”
Now your ‘q’ button has become the primer for your attack with: skulk, lerk, and fade ( once you get a second hive) hit it when you are just walking around getting ready for an attack, and during an attack at intervals.
What it does:
Skulk: your attack after hitting q is: leap, bite, bite, bite, etc…
Lerk: your attack after hitting q is: umbrella, bite, bite, bite, etc…
Fade: your attack after hitting q is: blink, slash, slash, slash, etc…
NOTE: If you want the Lerk to shoot after the umbrella, you will need a separate key.
Step 2: Upgrade:
So far the most effective upgrades have been for me:
1) Carapace: without it you are nothing!
2) Adv. Hivesight: in combat it really helps if your target glows
3) Adrenaline/Celerity: both are good, Lerk needs Adrenaline
Step 3: Kill
Skulk: Upgrade, and press “q” while you are looking for a target. Try and get behind your target without being noticed. Attack (remember that since you pressed our “q” key your first attack will be a leap), bit and circle, if there is any distance between you and your target immediately press “q” to prime another leap! Give them an inch and you are dead! Repeat process as necessary.
Lerk: Upgrade, and press “q” while you are looking for a target. Your best chance is to lend support to another alien. Once you find a suitable target close in and press attack to umbrella and bit for you life under the cloud and retreat if it fades. Or after you make the cloud switch to spikes and give them a mouth full of one-sided punishment… well, as long as your cloud lasts.
Fade: Upgrade, and press “q” while you are looking for a target. Once you find your target you have two options frontal or a faint. Frontal: click the attack button aiming directly at your target, you will blink over to them because you have primed the “q” and slash like crazy. Or a faint, strafe out to get there attention and am the blink past them a little to one side, this will cause them to focus on you and you will blink behind them and rip them a new one before they realize that they are just firing at air!

Go and play CS.
If you are not good at biting as a skulk or some other alien weapons, learn to use them normally or play marines.
otherwise ur spending valueable time in battle switching between the 4skills available.
<!--emo&:(--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo--> I think the scrips I made in no way cheat they just make it easier to play. try my "script" before you call it cheating please.
I am working on a "script" to make the alian controls how they should be:
1) one-button wepon select, not select and click.
2) an improved version of the "q" button above.
I think these changes should be added to the game in general so it is fair for all.
I see the need for what you're trying to do and I greatly appreciate it. Don't worry about a thing.
I certainly wouldn't consider your script unfair or dishonest in the slightest. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
I'm off to try your script right now. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->
<!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> damn marines....
main, knife, last used weapon. Its in the game and very useful.
Ever consider setting the most used things (bite/leap) to maybe numpad 1? oh! you use the default settings? then press 1 and fire... idiot.
Now, whether or not our wins were due to skill on aliens' part or incompetence on the marine commander's part I am not sure. My point is you don't need a script to kill, just get used to killing on your own. It's like training wheels. Sure you can ride with training wheels if it makes you feel better, but the big boys don't need help.
Ouch, that has to hurt. Anyways, lets keep the hating down, and try to grow up a little. They really should make an age restriction on these.
