<div class="IPBDescription">because</div> I had a gap of a couple of months, playing UT2004. Much fun though it was, I upgraded my ns to the latest beta, and started playing again.

Oh god, why did I ever stop? I've been playing hour after hour, and can't remember laughing so much at any game (this is all on combat).

Basically, NS just plain kicks arse, and I would like all the whingebags to remember that fact the next time they're moaning about some feature in a game which has cost them about a tenner to play.

Moan about **** films that you paid £5 for, moan about poor football results, but please don't moan about the best mod since knives were introduced to loaves of bread! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    what you consider interesting other people might consider inapporpiate. ie screaming and bitching about how co is so unbalanced-they know that. there trying all sorts of different ways to fix it.

    The NS forums have always been a funny one like that though. In order to police them properly, a large percentage of what would be threads on other forums (read the TS or CS ones if you don't believe me) are locked/against the rules.

    NS is a great game, I've found my love for it again recently now my technical issues are over, and I believe by continuing to post and suggest I can help it become the best mod ever. So here I stay.

    Just my 2p about the situation.

    and yes, NS is the Panthera of the Thundercats, the Man at Arms of the Masters of the Universe, the Optimus Prime of the Transformers, the Snakeyes of the GI Joe. it's awesome. usually when i play other FPSes.. it's honestly, like playing against bots. no need for teamwork or communication or comaraderie.

    I'm wondering the same thing!

    On topic, I prefer ut2k4 to ns recently. I think it's due to the fact that I've played NS wayyyy too much.
