My 1st Impressions!

I started playing NS about 1 week ago and I can say its been great fun!

When I was downloading the game I read a post in these forums that warned players to be more newbie friendly and not snobby. Either this paid off or was never the case, either way the NS players are great! No matter how dumb my questions in game may be I never get flamed from some idiots instead someone shows me what to do!

I think the reason for the great community is the teamwork required in game. Probably why I find DoD so enjoyable. Counter Strike can be great to, but sometimes hard to find a server where people are not moaning about guns or cheats. I also tried The Specialists but I got bored with that very quickly!

hm, nice to read from these people to and not only of the ones complaining

Wait, what was this topic about? Oh yeah.
Ah, I remember the first NS days. Spending hours downloading ns1 on my 56k then being so annoyed as everyone was playing rines.

For the first month the alien team was 2 players short for 90% of the servers I played in; no-one knew how to play them. I made the jump, faded, and boy was that fun...
