    Well actually, the lerk has such bad breath that when he roars out, silenced or not, the other aliens try to get away from the smell as fast as possible, equalling more speed and power.

    And on the other hand, PS is not silenced by silence. Your creatures will emit screams of the same volume even if they are PS'd with silence/lerk PS'ing with silence.

    yeah it is pretty crummy, for a third hive abillity it is, maybe the ultra high pitched shreak should shatter marine armor!

    oh yeah and since this isn't a discussion anymore and its more of a brainstorm about primal scream, could an admin phase it over to I&S

    As rare as it is. Primal in combat with a gorge on the hive can just about hold it for the given time. I've won with my mate just from me gorging and webbing the roof to keep the jps off and kept under primal to heal the hive healed. And that was with almost no other aliens alive for the last 4 minutes of the game. Regarding 3rd hive ability, it does suck due to too many hives to look after and you'lll prolly win anyway.

    Why movie this to I&S? we're discussing the wackiness of silenced primal (which BTW is vibrations from the scream not actual sound from the mouth <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

    how does it jump without breaking its legs?
    how do gorges make fully formed structures appear out of nowhere?
    why does the gorge then have to "build" the structure?
    how does that dopey looking alien restower instantly give its res to an alien across the map?
    why am i still thinking up things to ponder?
    how do destroyed building vanish in a puff of smoke (oh wait, they are ninjas in disguise)
    how does such a little turret shoot through walls and kill things fast? (that thing should be HUGE, considering all the stuff it does)
    what would a xenociding gorge look like?
    why havent i stopped doing this yet?
