Jet packs

<div class="IPBDescription">Infinite fuel?</div>those jet packs are damned good. they recharge really fast and have infinite fuel. they also propel you really fast, it turns a marine into a lerk!

Don't you think the fuel should be limited, or at least not recharge so fast? i swear, that with careful managing, a marine could stay afloat forever. i think the jet pack should be more like the one in Giants: Citizen Kabuto. That one was really cool, but way more realistic.

well, i guess the jetpack from Giants isnt really realistic, it is a lot less god/lerk-like. The Giants one is just good for getting places and quick speed bursts, not for insane flying everywhere/all the time. It had enough charge to reach high up places and it recharged fully from a complete empty in around 5 seconds or so (cant remember the actual time), instead of 1 second like the NS one.

Jetpacks are really good, considering its energy isn't used up through firing like the lerks energy and onos cant reach them, but they are also very vulnerable because of the lack of armor. Normally a lerk wins a dogfight with a jetpack marine, because they are faster and smaller.
