Smash T.V. and Kirby's Superstar are great fun. (But emulation and stuff is bad so I can not recommend checking out Z-battle to play online with Zsnes, because it's bad and stuff)
I'm always up for some co-op gaming. Check out #nscoop on GameSurge and i'll probably be there if anyone wants a game of something.
Operation Flashpoint. Yes, it's old. Yes, it's more of a simulation than a shoot-up. But it's <i>tons</i> of fun with the right plugins and custom made maps... I had so much fun with my friend, when we played it on LAN...

Duke3d has been coop since it was released... However, it didn't have true internet support. I've tried a few source ports, and the best one I've found for internet play is right <a href='http://dukenews.fragland.net/portal/index.php3?count=http%3A%2F%2Fjonof.edgenetwork.org%2Fbuildport%2Fduke3d%2F' target='_blank'>here</a>, but I also used <a href='http://www.dukesterx.com/' target='_blank'>this</a> in conjunction with it. You might be able to find a better one <a href='http://dukenews.fragland.net/portal/' target='_blank'>here</a>.

Jdoom is not to blame for a crappy computer. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I must admit, I am easily distracted by pretty graphics, but that's not the only reason I use Jdoom. It has the best netcode out of all the source ports (unless zdoom made some major improvements behind my back, and even if it did, I doubt they would be in ZdoomGL yet), and it has a built in server browser.

Theres a NICE looking game selling cheap and its called. CODENAME:OUTBREAK.
Its online multiplayer co-op shooter with some slick graphics and nice guns and tehcnology. One big problem, wanna know why its cheap and sells usually for less than £10/$14?
Cos it was released with the big bug of having NO internet servers and no gamespy support or any other server company. So it can only work over LAN (which sux) without hardware firewalls.
It has an Internet option, but there exist ZERO servers at all times.
I never made it to a LAN with this game, but i garuantee, buy this game if you like LAN CO-OP or VS gaming in your cybercafe or pub ect cos its definitely worth a look at (at least!). No CDkey needed either.
